What would you do if you saw a blind man on your way to work? He stretches his hands towards you, asking you to give him alms but you’re running late for your work. You have a meeting to attend but he still appeals to your sympathy, hoping that you’ll give him something – anything – that could help ease his burden.
This sad scenario is not uncommon in our day-to-day lives as commuters, especially within a busy city. But what would you do if you saw a blind man hailing a taxi with no one helping him?
This is what A Plus reported on their website. According to them, a blind man was hailing a taxi along the streets of Wrigley Field in Chicago.

He blind man named Yusef Dale had been standing on the sidewalk waiting for a cab for several minutes. A baseball game had just ended and people were busy going home to their own families. A 26-year-old woman named Casey Spelman saw Yusuf and decided to help him.
She noticed that the blind man was having a hard time getting a cab. Therefore, she offered to hail a taxi for him. Apparently, her kind deed was caught on cam by Ryan Hamilton, who took snapshots of the incident.
He narrated on his Facebook page:
“Wanted to give a shout-out to this girl. No idea who she is, but we are in Wrigleyville on the rooftop of Old Crow Smokehouse.”
